ATTENDANCE &MAKE-UP CLASS POLICY
All absences should be logged through parent portal under attendance and should not be sent by email, phone call, or text message.
EnPointe Performance Studio does NOT allow make-ups for dancer absences due to illness, travel, etc. Many of our classes are full and the integrity of the class instruction is affected, as well as the safety of dancers when the class size is too large.
If you do not receive an email regarding a closure or read it on the website, that means we are open.
COVID-19 GUIDLINES FOR DANCERS & FAMILIES
The health and safety of our dance families and staff is our utmost concern. To prevent the spread of coronavirus, we are asking that families abide by all guidelines set-forth by the Governor, the State of TN Health Dept, and EnPointe
-
Hand sanitizer will be provided and we ask that all dancers and parents use it upon entering and exiting the studio. We will encourage dancers to re-apply throughout their lesson if they touch their face, or use the restroom.
-
Masks are no longer required, but we will encourage dancers to wear one if their parents request.
-
If anyone in your household is feeling ill, has a fever, or cough, we ask that you do not come to the studio and please keep your dancer home.
COMMUNICATION
Email is the main source of communication and will be sent regularly with updates, reminders, cancellations, studio events, etc. Please check your email regularly.
MEDICAL INFORAMTION
Parents must notify the director/and or teachers regarding children who use an inhaler or who may require medications during their time at EnPointe Performance Studio. It is also important to inform the director and/or teachers about your child’s existing medical conditions or learning disabilities at the time of registration and throughout the school year. Our teachers are trained professionals who are anxious to work with all children and personalities, and the more we know about your child, the better the dance experience will be for all involved. All information about our students is confidential.
